Tried this and still no adio. I have run through system restore and loaded windows 98 again and all is working other than the audio device. There are 3 possible slots, a green one, a yellow one and a black one all next to each other.

The tiny ones will fit only one way in the housing on the motherboard. This is a gateway update for windowsxp so not sure if would work anyway. Can you advise on the installation of drivers ie do I just run set up from the dowloaded file done this and doesn’t seem to work or do I need to locate where the drivers are saved to and 616 to the specific driver if so, where would this be and what is the driver name?
